Making Dinner

Well I went to the grocery store and i decided to make roast with potatoes, carrots, squash, cabbage, and onion. I am making sort of a tagine or an American take on the tagine i might make some couscous but  we may just eat it with bread....probably with bread...OHHH i had my phone in my hand I was going to text message Aziz and i heard a key in the door and he got off early tonight i was so HAPPY....

    Congrats on becoming muslim! Found you through Abaya Chic.

    I converted about 4 years ago, it took my family a bit- but once they saw how happy I was, and that I remained true to myself etc....they have totally come to terms with it and support me. Now that I am married, the adore my husband and respect our faith and practice, alhamdulillah. i know my catholic mom shed lots of tears, but I truly believe she loves me just the same. Just give your Mom time and patience, and she will come around.
